also happy s11. i got 'the NY times' and 'the globe and mail' (van) and they both have huge specials on it. v. interesting. otherwise un-commemorated, at least on the mountain.

really? much the same as before, just a bit nicer. i was going to wait til i got my crate.

i assume the media commemorated it. the papers are pretty much my only mass media. i just mean there wasn't a ceremony on campus or minute of silence or anything. i did see a protest about it downtown on sunday. that was interesting. five (or six) canadian soldiers just died in iraq, so it is in the public consciousness.
