Did you know that the Canadian postal service do not allow you to send the following:
Bee-keeping apparatus, used
Contraceptive devices and literature
Intoxicating liquors
Lottery tickets and advertising
Margarine or butter substitutes
Metallic labels
Plumages
Postage stamps in insured articles
Prison-made goods
(plus a few that actually make sense.)

no-one's ever told me these things. god, i've been sending "i can't belive it's not butter!" to all the relos.
nope. how long ago did you send them? canada post is renowned for being a bit crap and the res office often just sits on parcels fora while, so it's a wonder i get anything, really. if it's been more than a fortnight i'll go bug the res office.

i hereby take back all the nasty things i said about canada post. there are two packages waiting for me at teh res office (have to wait til the open tomorrow to actually get them). i suspect one is from me (sent bronte posters to avoid smushing) but i think one might be from you! eeee!

ooh, yes, i did! Your postcard post makes me think I should scan one of the pictures and post them myself. Sorry I haven't mentioned it before, I think it arrived the same day I was being told about people moving out, and got pushed to the back of my mind.
